On 18/8/2011, a meeting was held by Song Cong People’s Committee, Thai Nguyen province and KOSY Joint Stock Company to speed up construction schedule of KOSY – Song Cong Urban Zone Project and handle difficulties in project implementation, at the same time, consider expansion of the project scope.

Participants in the meeting included Mr. Nguyen Khac Lam – Chairman of Song Cong People’s Committee, Mr. Dang Mong Diep – Vice Chairman of Song Cong People’s Committee, Mr. Do Chi Thanh – Vice Chairman of Song Cong People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Kien –  Chief of the town People’s Committee and People’s Council Secretariat, Mr. Trinh Van Thuan – Head of the Project Management Division, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Minh Tu – Head of Natural Resources & Environment Division, Mrs. Duong Thi Binh – Director of Land  Fund Development Center and Mrs. Pham Thi Mai Khanh – Vice Head of Financial Division. At the meeting, representatives from KOSY Joint Stock Company were Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong – Chairman/ CEO, Mr. Nguyen The Hung – Vice Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hiep – Deputy General Director, Mr. Khuat Thi Hanh – Chief Accountant and leaders and specialists of KOSY Group. Besides, representatives of the Consultants participated in the meeting.

The meeting focuses on several main contents:

– KOSY Joint Stock Company has been carrying out compensation and land acquisition in phase 1 of the Project. During the process of implementation, several matters were arisen and it is required to draw experiences to conduct the next works better;

– Representative of KOSY Joint Stock Company reported deployment of infrastructural construction in phase 1;

– Leaders of Song Cong People’s Committee and Divisions together with KOSY Joint Stock Company discuss preparation of the land acquisition plan in phase 2;

– Two parties discussed and considered expansion of the scope of the Project in the most feasible manner.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong – Chairman/ CEO of KOSY Joint Stock Company thanked for contributive opinions of the leaders of Song Cong People’s Committee and Divisions and confirmed that the Company and the consulting units would promptly deploy the works to push up the project’s construction schedule and the Company would focus on all the resources for the project to come into early operation.

Upon opinions addressed at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Khac Lam – Chairman of Song Cong People’s Committee concluded:

– He praised KOSY Joint Stock Company had actively and promptly carried out deployment of the Project during past time and the Company’s initial results achieved had been encouraged;

– The specialized divisions of Song Cong Town coordinated with KOSY Joint Stock Company to early prepare deployment and expansion of the scope of the Project;

– Leaders of Song Cong People’s Committee and Divisions agreed, supported and facilitated the Investor and promised to timely handle difficulties during implementation of the Project.
