One more real estate share code listed on UPCom Stock exchange: KOS

Kosy Joint Stock Company, the largest enterprise in the chain of nine companies under Kosy Group, was officially listed on UPCOM on December 8, 2017 with 41.5 million shares, reference price of VND 11,300/share. In the first trading session, KOS share gained to the ceiling price of 15,800 dong per share, increased by 40% against the reference price. At this price, the capitalization of Kosy Joint Stock Company is estimated at 655 billion VND.

At present, this enterprise is the investor of many real estate projects in Northern provinces such as: Kosy Lao Cai, Kosy Song Cong, Kosy Gia Sach, KosyBac Giang … with the total investment of approximately VND 3,000 billion.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong – Chairman of Kosy Group and Chairman of Kosy Joint Stock Company has shared interesting about the listing identified since the enterprise was named and Kosy has prepared well in over the past 2 years with the goals and strategies in the coming time.

Could you share why Kosy has choose to list to UpCOMfirstlybut not other resources such asHoSE and HNX.?

Nguyen Viet Cuong said“There are many reason for us to choose to list on UPCOM before moving to HOSE or HNX, but basically, Kosy is a growing business and thecurrent demand for capital mobilization is not really big. Our goal is to create and publicize the image of a publicly-traded corporation, thereby enhancing the credibility of the business and moving towards the goal of capitalization in the future.

In addition, we realize that there are many large companies such as VIB, Lienvietbank, … Vietjet Air, … or recently Habeco also select UpCOM to debut before list on the HoSE or HNX. Therefore, UpCOM is definitely going to be a lively playground forKosyto hit the target and look for investment opportunities and most importantly to accumulate enough capacity before moving on to the larger listing arena.

In the coming time, Kosyhas planed to move the trading floor at the right time, reaching the bigger playground such asHoSE or HNX.”

With income statement, profit and cash flow of the company announced in the first nine months of the year, How would they affect the recognition of investors in Kosy?

Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong said“The income statement of the company in the financial report for the first nine months of this year showed that the results have not been met our goal. It will not evaluate the potential of the company if only looking at the figures. In fact, in the early months of 2017, Kosy was busy with many projects simultaneously being launched, introduced and opened for sale, bringing big revenue for the company but due to the characteristics of the real estate sector, the revenue recognition on books is only made at the end of the project.

In the last 3 months of this year, Kosy is expected to earn about 300 billion dong and by the end of this year, the company will earn about 500 billion dong.

Next year is the time for the projects ofKosy projects to be completed, the revenue recognition will be achieved as our goal with an amount of up to thousands of billions in 2018 and will certainly be higher in later years.”

After listed on UpCOM Exchange Stock, for you, what is an attractive reason for investors should buy KOS shares?

Nguyen Viet Cuong said “In fact, financial investors are most intelligent, they often have a comprehensive view when deciding to invest shares. Normally, they not only rely on financial figures, but also research, assess and evaluate based on the potential, business plans and long-term strategies of enterprises.

In 2018, we have focused on accelerating the implementation of more large-scale projects, especially the project located north of Nhat Tan Bridge, Hanoi includes 6 buildings ranging from 30 to 35 floors and 400 adjacent villas with the total investment of over VND 4,000 billion, expanding three more urban projects in Sapa and Lao Cai, or projects in Vinh (Nghe An), Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Ha Nam …Now, these projects are under the stage of completion of legal procedures, some projects are under  the stage of site clearance and completion of site clearance for official commencement in 2018.
