Kosy Group donates 3 billion VND to Vietnam Covid-19 Vaccine Fund

Responding to the movement of socializing funds to buy Covid-19 vaccines that are spreading strongly in the community, on 28/05/2021, Kosy Group donated VND 3 billion to the Vietnam Covid-19 Vaccine Fund.

At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang, Vice President of Kosy Group presented the sponsorship of Kosy Group to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Long – Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Health.

Nguyen Thi Hang shared: “The Covid-19 pandemic is breaking out strongly in the country and around the world. To meet the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, it is really urgent to buy vaccines and deploy vaccination on a large scale for the entire population. As an enterprise that upholds social responsibility, Kosy Group wishes to join hands and support the Government to have more funds to buy vaccines, quickly implement mass vaccination for Vietnamese people, to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, people’s lives will return to normal.”

At the reception, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Long – Minister of Health highly appreciated the cooperation of Kosy Group and enterprises in timely support for the prevention of Covid-19 epidemic.

The 4th wave of Covid-19 that returned from April 27, 2021 has spread widely to nearly 30 provinces and cities. Previously, on May 20, 2021, Kosy Group donated VND 500 million to support Bac Giang province to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic through the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in order to join hands to support the locality suffering the most severe consequences in the country, with the number of positive cases continuously increasing in recent days.

Accompanying the Vietnamese health sector in the process of “fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy” is one of the good “mutual support” activities, showing the culture of “Kosy people for the community”. In the field of renewable energy, Kosy Group is implementing Nam Pac hydropower projects (Lai Chau) – 34 MW, Muong Tung hydropower (Dien Bien) – 30 MW, Pa Vai Su hydropower (Lai Chau) – 38 MW, Kosy Bac Lieu wind power phase 1 with capacity of 40 MW and will start construction of many other energy projects in the near future. By 2025, Kosy Group will have 500 MW of hydro power, wind power, and solar power to generate electricity and connect to the national grid.
