Right after the People’s Committee of Lao Cai City’s notification for land acquisition for Kosy – Lao Cai Urban Project in Decision No. 79/TB-UBND on June 7th, 2012, KOSY Joint Stock Company shall collaborated with the compensation and clearance Committee of Lao Cai city to implement the compensation, clearance for Kosy – Lao Cai Urban Project.

As the compensation, clearance plan approved by the People’s Committee of Lao Cai City, the scope of land acquisition is located in 02 wards, Binh Minh and Bac Lenh – Lao Cai City with the recovery area for the entire project is 38ha, divided into 03 phases.

Phase 1 is being carried out within the groups 14 and 15 – Binh Minh Ward with an area of around 15 hectares, the clearance is going on smoothly, achieves the consensus and unanimity of the local people.

It is expected that the compensation, relocation of households within Phase 1 will be completed and the commencement of the project will be on in September, 2012.
