Kosy Joint Stock Company reached the Top 10 prestigious clean energy IPP investors in Vietnam 2021
Kosy Joint Stock Company was honored in the category of Top 10 prestigious clean energy IPP investors in Vietnam 2021 as part of the Vietnam Clean Energy Forum (second time), which was held on April 7, 2022.
In order to recognize, encourage and promote investors and businesses that have invested in building typical clean power sources, on April 7, 2021, in Hanoi, in the presence of central state management agencies, the National Assembly’s Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, the State Bank of Vietnam, the Department of Climate Change (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment), Institute of Energy (Ministry of Industry and Trade), other organizations, Vietnamese and international enterprises… Scientific Council of Vietnam Energy Magazine held a review, voted and awarded the certificate “TOP 10 prestigious clean energy IPP investors in Vietnam 2021. The event is part of the Vietnam Clean Energy Forum’s (second) theme of “Towards Carbon Neutrality – The Policies, Mechanisms, Technologies and Financing for wind, solar and gas power projects.”
According to the Scientific Council of Vietnam Energy Magazine, the Organization Board received many applications from businesses that are investors, businesses that have built typical clean power sources, for the vote “TOP 10 prestigious clean energy IPP investors in Vietnam 2021.”
Overcoming many records of investment enterprises and enterprises across the country, Kosy Joint Stock Company ranked 6th in the Top 10 prestigious clean energy IPP investor in Vietnam 2021. The Scientific Council of Vietnam Energy Magazine also hopes that enterprises in the energy industry will continue to invest, innovate, manage production, conduct business, and provide services…. in order to strengthen their company’s position in the coming years.
Kosy Joint Stock Company – a member of Kosy Group listed on HOSE in 2019 (code KOS). Overcoming the disadvantages of the pandemic, Kosy Group made a name for itself in the market in 2021 when it launched two energy projects, Kosy Bac Lieu Wind Power Project – 40.5 MW and Nam Pac Hydropower Project – 34 MW, which were completed, officially operated, and connected to the national grid. Furthermore, two hydropower projects, Muong Tung (Dien Bien) and Pa Vay Su (Lai Chau), with a total capacity of 82.5 MW and a total investment of VND 2,800 billion, are being implemented, built, and completed before December 31, 2023. The goal is for Kosy Group to start a number of new hydropower projects with a capacity of 50-100 MW per year by 2025. Furthermore, Kosy Group is preparing a plan to deploy a number of large capacity storage hydropower projects, each of which is over 1,000 MW in size in addition to a number of other provincial real estate projects.
