Kosy JSC has executed land clearance of Kosy – Lao Cai urban area project in phase 1. At present, land clearance statistics and compensation are completed for the households in Group 15, Binh Minh ward. Before deploying land clearance for the households in Group 14, on 16/9/2012, a meeting was held to push up land clearance for Kosy – Lao Cai urban area project by the People’s Committee of Binh Minh ward.  

Participants in the meeting were representatives of the Party Committee and People’s Committee of Binh Minh ward, Kosy JSC, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Urban Management and local people in Groups 14 and 15, Binh Minh ward.

Its contents were as follows:

– To introduce members of a new working group, functions and tasks (this working group was re-established on 15/8/2012 by the People’s Committee of Lao Cai City due to changes in human resource).

– To explain to local people on some contents related to project and the State’s policies in order to create more convenient conditions in deploying land clearance of the project.

Mr. Cao Ba Quy – Chairperson of the People’s Committee of Binh Minh ward is explaining some contents related to the State’s policies on land clearance.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh – Deputy General Director of Kosy JSC is explaining some contents related to the project.

The meeting was successfully held with high consensus of the people in the project area. This was a pre-condition to complete land clearance of Kosy – Lao cai urban area project as scheduled.
