Muong Tung hydropower project cluster has total capacity of 34 MW, including 4 plants: Muong Tung Plant , Nam He Thuong 1 Plant, Nam He Thuong 2, Nam He Ha Plant. Plant located in Muong Tung commune, Muong Cha district, Dien Bien province, about 130 km from Dien Bien city. It is a poor and remote commune of Muong Cha district, without national electricity grid and ethnic minorities have not had access to the Internet.

This is a hydropower project with high water head and all use water transfer tunnels, using Prancis and Pelton turbines.

The project cluster has total investment of 1.100 billion dong, bringing jobs to more than 300 local people during the construction period and 70 permanent employees to operate the factory for a long time.

When put into operation, the factory will bring about 120 billion dong/year in revenue for Kosy Group and contribute 24 billion dong/year to the local budget.
